Mother.

I sent my work off to Mother in London. They are a popular agency and have studios all over the world.

They design for all different medias, but they mainly do a lot of digital work.

Here's what I got back:

We get lots of interest so please forgive the generic reply.

We don't currently have any open roles at Mother but your application has been forwarded to the relevant area and if something does come up that is of interest someone will be in contact. But unfortunately we can’t give individual feedback on applications as we receive so many.

We can however keep your details on file for 6 months, if you would rather we didn’t please just let us know.
If you are enquiring about work experience or an internship/graduate scheme here, I am afraid that we currently don't have anything in place.

We do however book one month creative placements to those who impress us. We only give out about six a year and get so many people coming in to see us. It's tough but by all means please send us your portfolio / some of your work and the least we can do is give our opinion. If you would like someone to review your work, please contact:

I didn't email with the intention of getting any work, but it's nice that my work has beed forward on to that area.

A month placement isn't what I was looking for either, but I could possibly use this contact to my advantage and see if could get any feedback from them. I don't want to bug them though.

I'm generally just looking for a day visit where I could go down, see how they work and possibly ask a few questions. I've sent about 16 emails out now, with a few more lined up, so I might wait another day to see if anything else comes back.
